Richard Mille

"Haute horlogerie as a contact sport."

History

Richard Mille set out to apply Formula 1 materials science to wristwatches. Carbon TPT, titanium baseplates, and skeletonised movements designed to survive a tennis match. Worn by Rafael Nadal, Charles Leclerc, and a generation of athletes who treat horology as kit, not heritage.

Cultural significance

The first maison to make a new watch feel collectible the day it leaves the manufacture.
